CGI Inc. is looking for 1-2 entry-level CAD drafters to work on process plant design projects. The draftsmen will be responsible for communicating directly with lead designer as well as client’s process engineers, modifying and creating Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), modifying and creating piping isometric and plan drawings from 3D models, understanding and implementing piping specifications, and providing drafting support for other disciplines.
Experience: Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, equipment arrangements, piping system design, and design specifications is preferred. Experience with process plant design and typical construction methods is desirable.
Requirements: Applicants should be team players, detail oriented, and self-driven. It is important that applicants have internal motivation and a thirst to expand their skillset. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word is expected. CGI will additionally train otherwise qualified applicants.
Education: A drafting degree is preferred but strong consideration will be given to other degrees based on experience and attitude.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour.
