Delivery Analyst

Overview:

With demonstrated knowledge of financial products and services and advanced analytical skill, the Delivery Analyst sources relevant data, builds dynamic reporting and partners with leaders and business partners to ensure data analytics support intelligent business decisions and assists in validating strategic behaviors.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for data centered around Delivery products and services
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems for data collection specific to Delivery function
  • Using BI tools, create visuals and reporting to track performance and trends across a variety of Delivery functions that can be used to influence business decisions
  • Collaborate with internal partners and cross functional teams to identify opportunities for data analysis, solve for voids, and provide comprehensive solutions and reporting for the Credit Union
  • Support initiatives by partnering with leadership to develop and track strategies which will drive key business objectives such as revenue growth, and expense optimization
  • Act as a liaison between analytics department and delivery LOB to enhance breadth of analysis available to LOB
  • Identify opportunities for further collection of data to drive business objectives
  • Work closely with Data Development and Technology team to ensure systems and programs for collecting data are proficient and consistently meeting needs for collection and analysis
  • Manage large volumes of data from various data sources to refine and determine relevance to applicable business strategies
  • Analyze data at specific functional level while understanding larger organizational impact to evaluate process improvement and refinement opportunities
  • Produce statistics in the form of metrics to support decisions and practices
  • Leverage professionalism, communication and presentation skills to transform data into dashboards, reports, graphics and presentations that are clear and understandable to business partners and senior leadership on a consistent basis
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships across the organization while providing valuable insight and perspective to internal and external business partners
  • Ensure all data collection, analysis, and reporting activity for Delivery functions are compliant
  • Maintain knowledge of Credit Union current, new and proposed products and services

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, MIS or related study
  • At least three years’ experience in an analytical role preferably in financial services or related field
  • Retail Banking or Credit Union experience preferred
  • Advanced experience with BI tools and analytical coding languages (SQL/R/Python)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expert user in Excel and Power BI
  • Advanced knowledge of Databases, SQL, and Python; experience with Snowflake a bonus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the financial industry and its products and services
  • Advanced experience in mining and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Thorough business acumen and operational understanding of Credit Unions operations
  • High degree of professionalism and communication skills to translate data observations to all levels of leadership including Executive and Board
  • Thorough ability to work independently as team of one over specialty while collaborating with other analysts to identify opportunities and solve for voids
  • Strong critical thinking skills with business insight and intellectual curiosity
