Join Target as a Lead Data Scientist – 1:1 Personalization. The Lead Data Scientist will design, build, and deploy advanced ML models for one-to-one personalization, collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams, develop testing frameworks (A/B, multi-armed bandits, causal inference), ensure models are production-ready, and stay current on ML/AI advances. Qualifications include an MS or PhD in quantitative disciplines, 5+ years applied data sciences experience (3+ in large-scale personalization), proficiency in Python, R, Java, or Scala, experience deploying ML models in production, strong background in Machine Learning (Personalization, NLP, Deep Learning frameworks), excellent communication skills, self-driven, results-oriented, and collaborative.
