The Senior Portfolio Governance & Program Manager will lead governance of strategic growth projects aligned with Caterpillar’s 2030 objectives, overseeing portfolio reviews, KPI performance reporting, prioritization, risk management, and executive governance operations. The role is based in Houston, TX, requires onsite work five days per week, less than 25% travel, relocation availability, but no visa sponsorship. Responsibilities include driving alignment with business objectives, facilitating governance meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability, tracking benefits realization, and maintaining governance tools and standards. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, strong project/portfolio management expertise, proficiency with project planning tools, governance review experience, and leadership skills to proactively address opportunities and challenges. Extensive experience in program management, data gathering and analysis, decision-making, alignment, and influencing is preferred.
