The Goddard School of Pioneer Square is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Support Teacher, also known as a Floater or Classroom Aide, to join our team. This role supports multiple classrooms daily, providing assistance wherever needed to ensure a safe, loving, and high-quality learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Responsibilities include classroom assistance, child supervision, engaging with activities, supporting routines such as diapering and meal prep, collaborating with lead teachers and directors, and adapting to different classroom environments. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and meet Washington state childcare licensing requirements, including passing a background check, TB test, and completing safety trainings. Prior childcare experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. CPR/First Aid certification is required (or willingness to obtain). The ideal candidate is flexible, patient, team-oriented, and genuinely loves working with children.
