NVIDIA is seeking a Data Analyst to perform data analysis for datacenter applications, providing the opportunity to contribute to advancements in artificial intelligence and GPU computing through engagement with cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. This role involves delivering insights on large-scale system design using machine learning for GPU-accelerated clusters, working with the latest accelerated computing and deep learning platforms, and collaborating with researchers, developers, and customers to optimize workflows and develop differentiated solutions. The team interacts with OS, container technologies, GPU compute, and systems specialists to architect, develop, and optimize large-scale performance software components.
Key responsibilities include analyzing large-scale workloads and identifying application and infrastructure improvement opportunities, providing actionable insights on high-dimensional data to assist engineers in building creative solutions, researching and analyzing data, identifying trends, linking changes to recorded events, crafting conclusions, creating visuals, and helping the team make intelligent, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with the team to understand analysis needs, communicate findings, apply machine learning or deep learning techniques for classification and prediction, implement models into existing software toolsets for usability, and document work to enable future contributions.
Required qualifications include 4+ years of experience debugging and analyzing data, building visuals to highlight trends, a BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent), strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript, exposure to telemetry tools such as Grafana, ElasticSearch, or Splunk, understanding of core machine learning techniques, fast learning and strong analytical problem-solving skills, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred qualifications include experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, action-driven analytical skills with attention to detail, exposure to high-performance or large-scale computing environments, experience visualizing high-dimensional data, and familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.
