Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division (EPD), with over 95 years of expertise in the electric power industry, is seeking a Wiring Team Lead in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality wiring assemblies, oversee daily production operations, escalate issues, implement recovery strategies, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include training team members, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, maintaining schedules, eliminating defects, supporting 5S activities, monitoring PQVC metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional departments. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in panel wiring and quality control, 2–3 years of experience with technical drawings and schematics, proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication skills, and proven leadership ability. Preferred qualifications include advanced knowledge of AC/DC voltages, Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards, CAD familiarity, and troubleshooting expertise. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (70 lbs. with team lift), wear PPE, adapt to changing temperatures, and stand or sit for extended periods. This is a 1st shift role (Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm) with potential overtime; relocation and sponsorship are not available.
